Secure your Design

Talk Track

If your Partner needs to handoff a website to a Client and the Client is totally clueless on how to use Wix Studio, no worries! CMS has got your back.

With CMS we are able to select specific elements from our website design and data bind those elements to a single item collection.

This way the Partner can select all the elements the Client can change on his own, via collection.

Using roles and permissions we can give the Client access to the CMS environment, allowing the Client to make changes to those elements without ever accessing the Editor. Keeping the design fully locked and safe!

Resources

Single Item Collection

A single item collection contains one block of content made up of standard fields that you add to. The content you add to these fields can appear on one or more static pages of your website. To display the content, you connect elements on your page to the fields in your collection.
This type of collection does not have a table layout in the CMS. It is best suited for non-repeatable content, such as an about page or a single element, like a picture or a text box.

Data Binding

Connect your page elements to datasets to use CMS (Content Management System) collection content with your site. Datasets are internal tools for you and site collaborators to use that do not appear on your live site.

Roles and Permissions

Choose what your teammates and collaborators can access within the CMS (Content Management System) by creating custom roles for them. You can grant access to viewing content, adding and editing content, managing backups and more.

I can't sell Studio websites to my clients because they can't update the site themselves without ruining the design.
